... what kind of a mentality should I keep in my mind in that foreign country?

Hi Dave,
I am a mechanical engineer in Turkey who works for the Italian Car
Manufacturer group FIAT/ALFA ROMEO in Bursa (a city app. 3 hours away from
Istanbul). I am 28 years old. I came accross with your stuff 2 years ago by
chance while surfing in internet. I tried your mentality (or let's say
philosophy) and as i guessed i got plenty of gorgeous outputs since i was
not already at the first steps of the path (to be honest your
glorious/famous article "10 reasons why very intelligent man fail with
women" was just enough - for an enginner as you reckon). I gave up being an
analytical-thinking-man not only about the girl stuff but also about the
other main aspects of life (e.g. business life, whatsoever). I suppose
that you used to be an engineer and man, your EQ is extremely high,
hell yes! (not to praise you in a "You are the man / you are the guru" way,
I really mean it)!
By the way sorry for the indirect explanations and lengthening my phrases
but you know; not our mother tongue :-).
Here is my question;
- Nowadays i work in a project in Naples (South Italia - 2 hours to Rome)
for 6 months (3 months are already gone) and for the remaining 3 months, i
really don't want to be alone there. In Turkey i am in a serious
relationship that seems to be ended up with a marriage (i know man here, at
that point, i lost you :-) but good news i got my hottie with your
techniques, so please keep reading me :-). South Italian girls are great,
the type that i love (brunette with light green eyes). The problem is; they
don't speak English, not a common word, they can't even pronounce Mc
Donald's (if you heard, you would faint :-)). We are taught Italian in the
company, yes i can speak it basically but not like my English of course (not
slangs, not shortcuts, etc), i can handle all the technical daily problems
at work and in the meetings but certainly not enough for the social life
(and of course not for creating intelligent C&F jokes at a sudden). As a
result i always hesitate to approach them. Yesterday i just read your
newsletter about having fear and thought about it. I don't have fear about
getting negative results, trust me man if you advice i can approach 50 girls
in a mall, that makes 350 girls in a week (in fact, to be honest, trying so
much makes me be bored, and also i am not in the "gathering experience" or
"overcoming fears" phase, i don't need and want to ask that much, i know i
am gonna get fed up by time) but i really don't think that it will work. Oh,
i feel like you said "try to find one who is both beautiful and speaks
English", but, actually i found some but their English was like the
"new-stepped-to-the-land-of-USA" type Koreans or Russians (didn't say to
humiliate, was just in L.A. in 2003 - yeahhh, great times man!.- and came
accross with those type of guys). So this time these Italian chicks lose
their confidences against me while we English and start to get bored (by the
way "beginner English speaker Naples girls rate" is something like one in a
million :-), remember that).
Now man, if that is fear of me, just tell me i am not gonna deny it, or what
else can it be? What do you advice me to do or what kind of a mentality
should I keep in my mind in that foreign country. Just motivate me!
Grazie in anticipo, mio amico. Chi sentiamo dopo. Ciao.
